Who we are
The HLA Hospital Group is one of the hospital service providers with the biggest presence in Spain. It was created with the objective of providing access to top level medical care.
Our care network is composed of 15 hospitals, 35 multi-speciality medical centres and a network of 41 benchmark units that provide latest generation treatments.
Our history dates back to the 80s, when a group of doctors who were members of the Lavinia Cooperative, a non-profit entity in the social economy sector, decided to increase their range of services and start to provide healthcare services. This showed their clear desire to grow, to be different and to have their own model of healthcare provision, and this has continued even up to the formation of the current network.
In 2016, we consolidated the group with the constitution of the HLA Lavinia Salud holding, enabling us to offer better healthcare via an integrated care model which has the best professionals and the most advanced technology, thanks to the renovation of our facilities. We achieved excellence in our care through the continuous training of our professionals, research and the permanent monitoring of our processes.
90% of our centres are located in areas in which tourism is one of the main drivers of the province: Seville, Malaga, Granada, Cadiz, Alicante, Madrid, Murcia, Zaragoza, Huelva and Almeria. This means that we maintain agreements with all the national and international businesses and mutual health insurance companies, and it shows our extensive experience in treating private patients, with each of the medical centres and hospitals being very prestigious in their cities of origin.

HLA has gone the extra mile in caring for the health of its patients by offering proactive management.
All our centres are in a constant state of evolution due to the expansion of our facilities and the incorporation of new professionals, guaranteeing that our range of medical care is one of the best in the country. In 2018 alone, over 12 million euros were invested in the acquisition of new equipment.
In turn, 6% of the facilities were refurbished and their capacity was increased by 4%, resulting in a total of 166,000 m2.
HLA Health Services
With a value proposal based on the control of the accident rate and on better service for insured parties, HLA Health Services integrates its operations with the Group’s Emergency Coordinator Centre.
Over 50% of emergency calls are resolved satisfactorily with the house call service, thus favouring better customer satisfaction. Thanks to the model’s innovative nature, it is very attractive to international insurers.
